An increasing number of people want to manage their savings on their own, but many of them ask a bank clerk for help before making a final decision. Raiffeisen Polbank commissioned Touchideas to develop a solution that would encourage customers to set up their own term deposits online.

Clients expect clear information about expected gains, but extensive rate tables make it difficult for them to choose an offer. We developed a new interface for customers who want to open term deposits: a graphical comparison interface that shows which term deposit from the bank’s range is the most advantageous. The system automatically offers options with the best interest rates and informs customers about expected returns. From this moment on, a new term deposit is only two clicks away.

The term deposit matching system was awarded by Gazeta Bankowa in the ‘2012 Hit of the Year for Financial Institutions’ competition.
