A scalable identity for global growth in crop protection.

After guiding the full rebranding of the Ciech Group into QEMETICA, a transformation that replaced a legacy name that had existed for more than 90 years, we were tasked with the next major challenge: bringing this new identity into one of the group’s most strategically important divisions — agriculture.

The Qemetica brand system is based on the concept of chemical elements, combining modular structures with simple, precise shapes that symbolise the company’s dedication to clean, responsible chemistry. Although the group identity brings together a variety of businesses — from Soda and Salt to Silicates, Foams, Packaging and Cargo — each division operates within its own unique visual language. Agricultural Solutions required a system that felt both scientifically advanced and human.

RECLAIMING MARKET CONFIDENCE

The agricultural business, however, posed a unique strategic challenge. Under the former Ciech brand, crop protection products were widely perceived as generic, low-cost alternatives — functional, but lacking the credibility and innovation expected from global industry leaders. Our ambition was to change this perception and help QEMETICA compete as a European leader in innovative branded crop protection products.

We developed a clear strategic narrative for a future-focused agricultural solutions company that helps farming businesses to protect crops effectively and responsibly, ensuring the production of healthy, abundant and affordable food. With this ambition came the need for a visual identity that would signal confidence, technology, and trusted expertise at every level — from brand to product to shelf. The visual identity translates precision into clarity. A strong, monolithic system provides consistency across a broad and complex portfolio while remaining flexible enough for global use.

WHERE GOOD IDEAS MEET FINE PRINT

Packaging became the most complex and crucial design challenge. Crop protection operates in one of the world's most tightly regulated and legally demanding environments, where every label must adhere to specific rules that differ across more than 80 international markets. The packaging was designed to withstand this heavy regulatory pressure. The result is a system that strikes a balance between control and adaptability, and between innovation and compliance.

The rebrand marked a turning point. QEMETICA Agricultural Solutions is now recognised as a confident, forward-thinking crop protection partner, rather than a generic producer.

It is now a trusted, branded player, ready to grow across Europe and beyond.
