As you probably know, Żywiec is a very well-known Polish beer brand. For many years, it was considered the best Polish beer. But loads of similar brands have come onto the market over the years, which is why Żywiec just wasn't as special as it used to be. The Żywiec Group asked Touchideas to give their brand a complete makeover.

In its brand positioning, Żywiec encourages people to enjoy life together. With dancing people on the label, why not let the idea speak for itself?

THE DANCING COUPLE

The dancing couple from Zywiec is one of the most iconic Polish trademarks. The traditional folk elements of their costume have been restored, and the dancing figures have become more distinctive. The new brand design is a real game-changer for Żywiec, giving it a new lease of life and letting it cash in on its rich heritage.

The new look is all about the brand's mountain roots and the refreshing taste of its beers. The new identity's got the red ŻYWIEC logotype on a white background, and that's the most important part of it. Its distinctive typography was inspired by modern mountain handicraft.

We created the entire independent typeface, as well as the new brand trademark.

On the one hand, you can see some clear vertical proportions, which are typical of poster wood font. On the other hand, there are expressive and minimalistic finishes shaped like flaring sheriffs.

REBRANDING THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE

We offered the company a global rebrand. We didn't just change the label on the bottle or the design on the can. We also wanted to encourage consumers to get together and enjoy life.
